uniqueness
UNIQUENESS may be a scientific fact but it’s far from being a lived reality in its majestic splendor. The traps of homogenization are all around us and CONDITIONING is the name of such process.
“Know thyself” is claimed over the ages as one of humanity’s most noble enterprises and although it may seem simple, it isn’t necessarily easy to live out!
But one thing is for sure, our uniqueness is the only place where we can truly love ourselves and love others for whom they are. There is no other place where we can achieve this in absolute freedom which is why it’s worth the journey!
HUMAN DESIGN gives us a deep understanding of our uniqueness and offers tools that help it shine.
Comparison is possible if there are many people alike, similar to each other, but this existence is so tremendously creative, so originally creative, it never repeats. It does not believe in carbon copies. It makes everybody an individual, unique. When conditioning is dropped you suddenly feel you are unique - but remember, you also feel everybody else is also unique. Uniqueness is a common quality of all, there is nothing to brag about. It is the universal quality of every being.

We are unique but do we live it?
Uniqueness is very ordinary, everybody is unique, but living our uniqueness, letting it shine in its splendor and not giving it up in favor of homogenization through the powers of conditioning is quite a different matter.
So many cultures and societies pointing towards a similar suggestion…
Listening to the sages of many different cultures and times, there is a suggestion that is often encountered; it is the one shamans from the Amazon refer to by saying, “You need to encounter your power”, what the mystics mean by “Going with-in” or what the Greeks wrote above the entrance to the Oracle of Delphi saying “Know Thyself”. Knowing oneself, loving oneself and trusting the inner power are at the heart of our life experience; and they are the source of a deep feeling of fulfilment for the many directions of life. So, whether we realize it or not, I think we all long to get to know ourselves and love ourselves for who we are without having to compromise our essence in this life; that we all long to be able to love from a source of Freedom.
But “Knowing oneself”, once we analyze it a bit, we come to a rather obvious conclusion…
Now, although there is a simplicity inherent in just being oneself that seems rather astonishing, for most of us it isn’t necessarily an easy thing to achieve and live out. “Oneself” is a vast ocean, a world of its own; it has its chemistry, physics, biology and psychology and goes all the way to the domain of quantum physics, genetics, philosophy and mysticism. And one of the surprising things is that upon a closer look, who we think we are can be a rather crowded inner world actually! We can quickly recognize how our inner world is composed of so many voices, each with their aspiration of assuming a management position in our life through telling us what to do. Whether it is the voice of a parent, the judgments of authorities, the demands of society, unsaid rules and dogmas running beneath the surface, second hand values or unfounded fears, they all have their place in our mind. They are often the source of our personal decisions instead of utilizing our own authenticity and inner power. The reason is simple; we haven’t necessarily got a good understanding of what it is to be ourselves and how to make decisions based on our uniqueness!
When the territory is vast, mapping the journey is an advantage…
When it’s not necessarily easy to get somewhere straight away, mapping the journey can be an amazing advantage! Many have referred to the process of coming to know oneself as “peeling the onion”, stripping away the layers we thought of as “me”. In the process of discovery, we find that what we thought of as “me” is just an identification of our mind with what in fact are the conditioned aspects of us. The purpose of this website is to introduce an unusual tool – Human Design - that offers a map showing graphically where our field of conditioning lays and how it translates itself in our life and relations; as well as showing what our uniqueness looks like and giving us practical tools we have at hand to make decisions from our uniqueness instead of our conditioning.
And because the map concerns us, we make sure the journey is uniquely ours…
I have always found it extremely valuable and enriching to see one’s conditioning. I see it as maturation in life. It enriches the understanding of ourselves, it opens up the horizons of our being, and it brings about self-empowerment as well as interest, respect and understanding for the differences we share with each other in our uniqueness. On the journey towards knowing and loving ourselves, it is by looking at our conditioning and being able to see it graphically juxtaposed to our unique essence which reveals truth. This process opens perspective and brings about the possibility of basing our decisions on our uniqueness, which enables us to love ourselves and lead lives that truly are beyond compare.
